My Mama Taught Me to Say Thank You, So Thank You, Barack.

At the height of the Great Recession, unemployment reached 10 percent.

During the Obama Presidency, unemployment declined over 5 percent.

When Barack left office, the unemployment rate was 4.5 percent.

My Mama taught me to always say Thank You.

So, Barack, I thank you,

for leading America out of the Great Recession and into the Great Rebound.

 

 

 

trump Starts 2020 Campaign Saturday, because Everyone Loves a Circus.

He’s full of Circus, because he has no idea how to deliver on Bread.

He’s a Snake Oil Salesmen in a Traveling Magic Show, deflecting attention from his Colluding with the Enemy and from his Conflicts of Interest.

He’s an Egomaniac with ADHD. Addicted to adulation, he travels to Florida to hit the campaign trail, again, one month into his presidency.

He needs his Fix, to stand in front of a cheering crowd while he Feeds their Fears and Strokes their Pride.

He doesn’t think instead to act like a president and travel to Louisiana to visit people in  disaster areas after tornadoes hit. He doesn’t think to go to California where 180,000 people were evacuated from their homes after a spillway failure. Instead he sends one tweet about Louisiana and doesn’t even bother to tweet about California.

He is a liar, a cheat, a racist, a misogynist, a sadist, a traitor, a loser.

He is incompetent.

He is dangerous.

And he is Circus Master, I mean, president.

For now.

Hey, Trump. Your “Bad Dudes” are Already Here

If Trump’s travel ban is really meant to keep us safe, then he should extend it to include all places of origin of terrorists. Besides including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Lebanon, the origins of the 911 terrorists, all people from New York, Michigan, and Kansas should be banned from travel to other states. Because…

• The deadliest act of terrorism within the United States prior to the September 11 attacks occurred on April 15, 1995. The Oklahoma City bombing which killed 168 people and injured over 600 was perpetrated by U.S. citizens Timothy McVeigh,born in New York, and Terry Nichols, born in Michigan.
• In October 2016, three men from Liberal, Kansas were charged with domestic terrorism for planning an attack on Somali immigrants. They were planning to detonate bombs in an apartment complex in Garden City, Kansas, which housed a mosque and 120 Somali refugees. The men are members of the militia group “The Crusaders.”

And one more thing, if a Religious Registry is really meant to keep us safe, then we should have a Roman Catholic Registry because McVeigh was Roman Catholic.
